Mallorca live to fight another day after a solitary goal by Tomer Hemed guided them to victory over Real Betis as they refuse to accept relegation from the Primera Division.
Mallorca moved to within three points of safety courtesy of Monday night's win with two matches remaining although fellow strugglers Real Zaragoza have a better head-to-head record between the two sides this season.

AC Milan claimed a dramatic 2-1 win at Siena to claim the final Champions League place on the last day of the Serie A season.
With Fiorentina beating Pescara 5-1 the pressure was on Massimiliano Allegri's men and they were out of the top three when Claudio Terzi gave Siena the lead in the 25th minute.

Torino and Catania ended their Serie A campaigns with an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Stadio Olimpico.
Sergio Almiron gave the visitors the lead in the first half but Alessio Cerci levelled things up after the break.
