The Brazilian says Manchester United are weaker following Ronaldo's departure.
Real Madrid playmaker Kaka has revealed that he is glad team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo cost the club more money as he feels being the world's most expensive footballer would be a difficult burden to carry.
Both players arrived during the summer with Ronaldo costing Los Merengues a reputed €94 million while the Brazilian commanded a fee of €65 million.
"We don't talk about it in the locker room, it's something for the media and fans. I don't look at the numbers and think 'I have to play better'. Besides, I'm happy we paid more for Cristiano," he said before adding that Ronaldo is pressured by the price tag.
"Being the most expensive is not easy to carry and he takes a lot of pressure because everybody talks about him."
The 27-year-old also stated that his Portuguese team-mate has not disappointed since arriving from Manchester United and claimed that the Red Devils are weaker as a result of Ronaldo's departure.
"Cristiano has not disappointed with the expectations on him and doesn't obsess about people expecting miracles every time he plays," he declared.
"I think that he has already proven that Madrid did well to buy him for so much money and I love having him in my team and not at Manchester United. This season, United will realize how important Cristiano was for them. His departure can only weaken them."
