Spanish Media Strike Puts Broadcast Of France-Spain Match At Risk

A strike by a labour union for Spanish media conglomerate RTVE has put the broadcast of Spain's friendly match against France in Paris at risk as Spaniards across the Iberian Peninsula could be unable to watch their team take on Les Bleus in a duel of world football heavyweights.
As reported by Marca, at the moment there is no agreement between the two sides, even for a provisional broadcast of the match if no definitive agreement can be reached.
La Roja are set to take on France at 21:00CET and although the match is a friendly, many Spaniards are hoping to catch a glimpse of their team in what many believe to be a final measure of how Spain could fare in this summer's World Cup in South Africa. Spain currently top the FIFA rankings as the No. 1 national team in the world.
