Cowdenbeath scored twice in three minutes as they came from behind to beat Arbroath 2-1 at Central Park.
Arbroath started the brighter of the two sides and it was the visitors who took the lead in the 19th minute after Paul Lunan finished well from close range.
Craig Winter and Gareth Wardlaw both came close to equalising for the hosts but were denied by goalkeeper Darren Hill.
Cowdenbeath equalised in the 63rd minute after Paul McQuade found the left-hand corner from inside the area.
Darren McGregor then put the home side ahead three minutes later with a thumping volley from close range.
The home side could have gone further ahead but John Dempster's drive hit a post in the 86th minute.
