McAlister leaves it late

James McAlister was Morton's last-gasp hero as his winner in added time gave his team a valuable 1-0 victory over Partick at Cappielow Park.
Morton started the game at pace and forced the early chances, Donovan Simmons making room for an effort that went just wide of the upright.
The home team continued their impressive spell and Simmons should have opened the scoring but he fluffed his header when well placed.
Patrick struggled to get a foothold in the game and the best they had to offer was David Rowson`s weak 12-yard header that barely troubled keeper Kevin Cuthbert.
The Ton continued to probe for a breakthrough and it finally arrived in dramatic fashion as McAlister found the bottom corner.
