Bavidge brace boosts Peterhead

Martin Bavidge's brace helped Peterhead claim a 3-0 win over fellow strugglers Arbroath.
Neale Cooper's men had recorded three consecutive losses and were without a clean sheet in 15 games though they nearly made the perfect start when Paul Emslie's 20-yard strike produced a brilliant save from Darren Hill.
However, they deservedly took a 13th-minute lead when Daniel Moore crossed to Peter Bruce and his header beat Hill.
Emslie struck the post six minutes later as the Blue Toon pushed forward in the first half without success.
They were nearly punished when Paul Jarvie made a magnificent save from Steven Hislop in the 50th minute, however, they weathered Arbroath's attempted fightback before Bavidge nodded past Hill from Daniel Moore's cross in the 79th minute.
The striker put the result beyond doubt a minute later with a low, close-range strike.
