Dumbarton moved to within five points of the play-offs with a 2-1 win over Stenhousemuir.
The visitors were nearly ahead after four minutes but Paul Quinn's effort was well blocked inside the area by Ben Gordon.
However, Dumbarton took the lead on the stroke of half time with Scott Chaplain finishing neatly inside the area.
William Lyle equalised 20 minutes after the restart, netting from 12 yards after Pat Scullion sent him through on goal.
The hosts took the lead again three minutes later, Chaplain claiming his second from the penalty spot after goalscorer Lyle brought him down in the area.
Stenhousemuir were reduced to 10 men seven minutes from time when Gary Thom was dismissed for a reckless challenge on Jan Vonacek.
