Arsene Wenger today insisted Cesc Fabregas could still face Barcelona in tomorrow's Champions League quarter-final.
Arsenal captain Fabregas, 22, missed training this morning but Wenger will make a late decision on the Spanish midfielder.
Gunners boss Wenger said: 'If Cesc is fit we will play him. He is desperate to play and we will make a decision in the warm-up. We will leave it as late as that.
"At the moment he would not play but we will give him another 24 hours. If it were today he wouldn't play."
William Gallas did train on Tuesday and could make a surprise return after his calf injury.
Wenger said: "William has a chance of playing."
The Frenchman also confirmed that Abou Diaby, Andrey Arshavin and Samir Nasri will be fit.
Wenger insisted Arsenal will not be intimidated by Barcelona. He added: "They are an exceptional side. But we are an exceptional side too."
