East Stirling's longest serving player Derek Ure has been passed fit for the play-off first leg match with Forfar.

Ure was brought off at half time of the weekend's 1-0 defeat to Livingston with a knee injury but has overcome the problem.

That means that Jim McInally has a virtually fully fit `Shire squad to choose from with the exception of defender Craig Tully who is out with a broken foot.

McInally's men look certain to attack from the from the first whistle.

The boss said: "We are going to be extremely positive in this game. Last season we did not play until we were 2-0 down to Cowdenbeath and we cannot afford that again. The games between us have gone with home advantage and it would be great if that was the case again before we go up to Forfar."

Forfar defender Andy Tod returns from suspension for the game

Full back Iain Campbell drops out of the squad however, after being sent off in the 76th minute of the 1-1 draw against Queen's Park at the weekend.

The Loons have never been involved in the play-offs before, although manager Dick Campbell took Partick Thistle back to the First Division in the very first season the end of season games were introduced in May 2006 and he will be looking to repeat that feat.

Campbell is expecting this game to be different to the previous clashes between the sides this season which have seen a total of twenty four goals scored.

He said: "I would imagine that this game will be different in that it will be very low scoring compared to our earlier meetings."
