Playing For Pride
Juventus’ season was all over last weekend when their very dim hopes of qualifying for the Champions League next season were crushed after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Catania in Sicily.
At the moment Alberto Zaccheroni’s side are seventh in Serie A with 55 points from 36 matches. They are assured of a Europa League spot next season but their 2009-2010 campaign has been an utter failure.
However, the Juve players will be keen to end 2009-2010 on a high and win their last two remaining league fixtures.
Finishing With A Flourish
Parma’s season has been hugely successful as they are set to finish in mid-table. At the moment the Ducali are 11th in the league standings with 46 points from 36 matches.
Indeed, the Gialloblu can actually finish in the top half of the table should they win their last two remaining league matches and if results elsewhere go in their favor. Parma were expected to be struggling for survival but they have proved everyone wrong.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Alessandro Del Piero (Juventus)
Alessandro Del Piero has struggled with injuries this season but is still an important player for the Bianconeri. Del Piero has scored a few important goals lately and although Juve have nothing to play for between now and the end of the season as they have already been assured of a place in the Europa League, Del Piero will be eager to increase his goals tally.
Daniele Galloppa (Parma)
Galloppa has been a crucial figure for Parma in their successful attempt to finish in a respectable place in the Serie A table. Juventus’ midfield has holes and is not always strong; this means that Galloppa will be looking to push forward and create chances for his teammates.
PREDICTION
It is not always easy to predict a Juve victory as they tend to disappoint, and this time they could disappoint. Parma have looked good and they will be confident of holding Juventus to a draw in Turin.
