YOSSI BENAYOUN has completed his move from Liverpool to Chelsea on a three-year contract.
The Israel midfielder returns to London after previously representing West Ham.
Benayoun, 30, decided to quit Merseyside before Roy Hodgson was appointed as manager and he leaves for an undisclosed sum.
"I am very excited to come to a club like Chelsea, it is a big club and I think it is a dream for every player," said Benayoun. "Hopefully we will be successful.
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti added: "Yossi has a lot of quality in midfield and can play in lots of positions. I like his behaviour on the pitch and he will do a great job for us next season."
