Partick Thistle are missing the injured pair of Jackie McNamara and Alan Archibald for the visit of Dundee.
Firhill manager Ian McCall is keeping his playing assistant Ian Maxwell guessing if he will be starting the game in place of the suspended Willie Kinniburgh.
On-loan Hearts youngster Conrad Balatoni could also get the call.
Maxwell said: "I am ready to play, however the boss has tried a few things in training and he will let us know the team on Saturday morning.
"This will be a strange game as we are still trying to get the result at Raith Rovers out of our system from last weekend and Dundee will want to do likewise after losing to Stenhousemuir."
Dundee boss Gordon Chisholm is tempted to give summer signing Dominic Shimmin a debut.
Chisholm wants to strengthen a defence that was brushed aside by Second DivisionStenhousemuir in midweek.
Midfielder Nicky Reilly is suspended with Eric Paton, Rhys Weston and Mickael Antoine-Curier all out through injury.
Full-back Netan Sensara was released in the wake of the midweek 4-1 ALBA Challenge Cup defeat.
Chisholm said: "I will have to consider big Dom and he will be given up until the last minute to be ready. I am not going to let us be so soft away from home again.
"I am still more shocked than surprised after seeing the players battle for everything at home last Saturday and then be so poor against Stenhousemuir."
