Ronaldo Nazario De Lima or like some call him Fat Ronaldo these days, after returning from a 3 month thigh injury Ronaldo returned with the evidence that he didn’t do a whole lot. His weight is one factor but according to sources and Ronaldo himself his body is just telling him to quit now.
Hes expected to retire at the end of 2011 but the main question is, will Ronaldo be in shape in time for the next game? According to Ronaldo 15 days gives him plenty of time to lose the weight and get prepared for the game.
Although Ronaldo has put on the extra weight there are still popular and famous players around carrying their own soccer ball under their shirt but working for radio you will find .
Many would be sad to see him go as would I but the fact of the matter is, hes had a great career and its best to get out on his terms rather than getting hurt again and being forced out of football i cant really seem him cutting down on junk food and beer.
After a few sessions at the gym and a game or two people will begin to see Ronaldo as he was before the injury. None the less leaving still may be the best option simply because his body is getting worn out but hey the man still has magic in those boots.
A brilliant and fluid forward, Ronaldo became one of international soccer’s great stars of the 1990s and Brazil’s biggest soccer hero since Pele.No matter what Ronaldo does he will be remembered as one of the best forwards in soccer history, hands down if you hate him or love him he is a legend.
