Npower Championship
Venue: Glanford Park Date: Tuesday, 28 September Kick-off: 1945 BST
Coverage: BBC Sport website, BBC Radio 5 live, BBC local radio & highlights on The Football League Show

TEAM NEWS
Scunthorpe winger Garry Thompson is sidelined with a groin problem, and left-back Jim McNulty is expected to miss out again with an ankle injury.

Defender Rob Jones seems to have fully recovered from a recent knee complaint.

Barnsley will be without Jay McEveley at Glanford Park as he has a foot injury, while striker Garry O'Connor is doubtful because of a groin problem.

Tests have shown that defender McEveley did not suffer a fracture at Reading on Saturday, but he has severe bruising.

MATCH PREVIEW
Without an away win since February, Mark Robins' Barnsley side are looking to record their first victory on the road in 12 league matches.

The Tykes have conceded 12 away goals already this term - an average of three per game - and suffered a 3-0 defeat at Reading on Saturday despite the home team having a man sent off before they opened the scoring.

That was the first league game since an opening-day thrashing at QPR in which Barnsley failed to score. The Yorkshire club, who have not won at Scunthorpe for 32 years, have won only one of their last four matches.

Scunthorpe drew 1-1 at home to Ipswich in their first match since Ian Baraclough was handed the job of manager on a permanent basis. Jaime Peters' second-half equaliser denied them a morale-boosting victory.
