League One leaders Brighton welcome back midfielder Matt Sparrow after he missed the 2-1 win over Oldham with a groin injury.
Boss Gus Poyet may rest on-loan winger Kazenga LuaLua (hamstring) as his side face their fourth game in 10 days.
Brentford have Carl Cort (Achilles) and Nicky Forster (stomach) fit but boss Andy Scott is set to keep faith with Gary Alexander and Charlie MacDonald.
On-loan Robbie Simpson is still struggling with a hamstring problem.
Brighton manager Gus Poyet told BBC Sussex:
"I had a chance to go and see them against Leyton Orient so we've got a pretty good idea of what to expect.
"I think they are a similar team to Oldham, with the main difference being their position in the table.
"I know how hard it is for the players but it's a great opportunity for them to beat the team at the top of the table."
