Third-placed Falkirk will be looking for revenge when they welcome fourth-placed Dundee to town.

The Bairns were undone 2-0 earlier in the season and will keen to keen to right the wrongs of that day in late August.

They will be missing defender Tam Scobbie and strikers Tam McManus and Jack Compton for the encounter, although boss Steven Pressley is looking forward to home comforts again at the Falkirk Stadium.

He said: "It seems a long time ago that we are at our own place and I am hoping we can recapture the fine away form we have had recently and take the three points from Dundee.

"The players were clinical in their finishing at Queen of the South and put on a great show against Aberdeen and it would be good to show a big crowd at the Falkirk Stadium that level of performance."

Dundee interim manager Barry Smith welcomed David Witteveen back to training this week and he has been included in the club`s travelling party.

The Dens Park boss was pleased to see the on-loan Hearts striker back in action, saying: "I now have choices up front which is good as I need to put out a team that is going to trouble Falkirk."

The Dark Blues have still to win away from home this season and Smith knows that picking up three points from the Bairns will be anything but easy.

"They are going really well just now and I was very impressed when I watched them against Aberdeen in midweek," he added. "Our players have trained hard and a win over Falkirk would be great reward for their efforts."
