Peterhead will be without Bobby Mann for the visit of Alloa.
The defender has an ankle injury while Blue Toon boss Neale Cooper also has to find a replacement for midfielder Stuart Anderson after he left the club.
Full-back Daniel Moore and striker Dennis Wyness came through a reserve game in midweek after spells out injured and are in contention.
Cooper said: "We need to start where we finished against Ayr last week where we scored twice in the second half after being two down.
"We are still not getting clear of the foot of the table despite playing better so we need to start getting some points on the board."
Alloa have mixed news from the treatment room ahead of their trip.
Striker Bryan Prunty is ruled out because of an ankle injury but defender Scott Walker and midfielder Michael McGowan are available after shaking off knocks.
Long-term absentee Brown Ferguson is still not ready to come back but manager Allan Maitland has promoted Kenny O'Brien and Allan Ramsay to his first-team squad after fine displays for the Recreation Park under-19 side.
The Wasps are still hurting from their 4-1 defeat against Dumbarton last midweek.
Maitland said: "We are looking to get back on track as soon as possible after that game. Training has been good this week and the two young lads that we have added have been added on merit."
