GOOD Samaritan DAVID BECKHAM came to the rescue of a driver and his family who broke down yesterday.
The soccer hero spotted stranded Paul Long's car in trouble on a busy roundabout.

Becks, wearing a hoodie, turned AA man to help push the motor - with Paul's two children inside - to safety.

Paul said he was so relieved that he gushed to the star that he LOVED him.

He told The Sun he initially thought Becks was "just a hoodie".

The grey Nissan Primera had broken down on a roundabout near Beckham's house in Sawbridgeworth, Herts.

Paul was taking his son Fabien, eight and daughter Josephine, six, to school when his gearbox failed.

They were stuck in the middle of the roundabout and Paul said he was "petrified" for his kids as cars thundered past.

The 47-year-old said: "It was hair-raising having children in the back.
