On-loan Rangers youngster Ross Perry is added to the Falkirk squad to face Morton.

Striker Tam McManus has been included in manager Steven Pressley's provisional squad after five months out with a knee injury. However, the best he can hope for is a place on the bench due to a lack of recent match practice.

Meanwhile, defender Brian McLean is suspended.

"We have been itching for a game ever since the final whistle went at Raith Rovers two weeks ago," said Pressley.

"That was a great result and a great performance and one that we really needed. I am looking for us to build on against Morton."

Morton include on-loan Celtic youngster Sean Fitzharris.

However, experienced midfielder Darren Young remains a doubt as the Greenock side look to put a disappointing display against Inverness in the Scottish Cup behind them.

Manager Allan Moore said: "We were poor last weekend and were soundly beaten 4-1.

"We simply never got going and Falkirk will reckon that a win over us and they will be setting up a three horse title race.

"But we played well there earlier in the season and were unlucky to be beaten. Our league form has been good of late so we have nothing to fear.

"The same type of performance as we put in last September, however with a different result this time, would be very welcome."
