Second Division leaders Livingston are able to call upon Paul Watson and Jason Talbot against Alloa as they look to make amends for their midweek defeat at fellow promotion rivals Brechin.

Watson returns from injury while fellow defender Talbot has now completed his suspension, and manager Gary Bollan is delighted his side are back in action so quickly after their 1-0 reverse on Tuesday.

Bollan said: "It was a disappointing end to the game at Glebe Park but we have the opportunity to put that right quite quickly.

"Our games with Alloa this season have been exciting encounters with a 3-3 draw and a 2-2 draw and I would expect goals in this one as well.

"They will be coming here looking to build on last week's win over Airdrie but we have a really good home record having won in our last seven games here so we are aiming to make it eight."

Alloa travel to Livi without the services of injured trio David McClune, Mark Brown and Nathan Taggart.

Comeback man Brown Ferguson is also not yet fully ready to be involved as Alloa look to clinch back-to-back wins following last weekend`s 2-0 triumph at Airdrie.

And Recreation Park boss Allan Maitland is looking for his side to show they have recovered from the poor run that hit their promotion hopes hard.

He said: "Winning at Airdrie last weekend has given us some confidence back and confidence is a huge part of football at all levels.

"You can look at Liverpool and Dumbarton and see the results of both clubs improved because of confidence.

"We are unbeaten against Livingston this season and I would like to keep it that way."
