Ross County and Partick Thistle played out a goalless draw at Victoria Park, with Andrew Barrowman going closest for the home side three minutes from time.
It proved to be a golden opportunity for Barrowman to win the game in the closing stages but he dragged his shot wide of the post.
County threatened early on with Garry Wood striking a post with a powerful header before Steven Milne saw his 20-yard strike sail over the crossbar.
Partick rarely threatened Michael McGovern's goal with the goalkeeper easily saving Kris Doolan's 30-yard effort in the second half.
In the final stages, Scott Boyd wasted a good chance as he headed wide from 12 yards before Barrowman saw his late strike fall the wrong side of the post.
