Becks and son Cruise into Tom

DAVID BECKHAM bumped into old pal TOM CRUISE as he enjoyed a lads' day out with eldest son BROOKLYN yesterday.

The LA Galaxy midfielder joked and shook hands with the Mission Impossible star after they met in the crowd as the LA Lakers faced New Orleans Hornets.

But there was no sign of Tom's namesake, six-year-old CRUZ, or his eight-year-old brother ROMEO as David spent some quality time with his sports-mad 12-year-old.

After chatting to the pair, the 48-year-old film star had a word with fellow Lakers fan VANESSA HUDGENS.

And he seemed pretty pleased to see her - or smell her.
