BERLIN (AP)—Borussia Dortmund came from behind to beat Hannover 4-1 at home, keeping the leader seven points clear in the Bundesliga standings on Saturday.

Hannover slipped to fourth, after Arjen Robben’s goal was enough for Bayern Munich to reclaim third place with a 1-0 win at home over Borussia Moenchengladbach.

Mohammed Abdellaoue opened the scoring for Hannover in the 57th minute, but Mario Goetze equalized just two minutes later.

Lucas Barrios’ powerful header gave Florian Fromlowitz no chance in the 64th, and he made the game safe in the 73rd. Kevin Grosskreutz rounded off the scoring in the 83rd.

“We have six games left and a seven-point advantage,” Grosskreutz told Sky. “We have to give it gas. Together with the fans we can make it.”

Second-place Bayer Leverkusen won 1-0 at Kaiserslautern and there were 1-1 draws between Werder Bremen and Stuttgart, and Mainz and Freiburg.

Visiting Hamburger SV held Hoffenheim to 0-0 in the late game.

Vedad Ibisevic had the game’s best chance in the 22nd when he was put through by Ryan Babel—Hoffenheim’s most dangerous player—but was denied by Frank Rost.

Rost was the busier of the two goalkeepers and denied substitute Mlapa Peniel late in the game, with neither side pushing all out for the win.

Hannover brought its game to life when it scored from a short corner. Sergio Pinto whipped the ball in and Abdellaoue deflected it past Roman Weidenfeller from close range.

Goetze’s response was immediate. The 18-year-old collected the ball in front of the penalty area, facing four defenders, and cut inside to elude two before slipping the ball low past Florian Fromlowitz in the 59th.

Barrios’ powerful header from a Lukasz Piszczek cross gave Fromlowitz no chance, and Goetze’s superb movement created the Paraguay striker’s second, when Barrios found space to slot the ball between the goalkeeper’s legs. Grosskreutz raced onto Barrios’ clever backheel to blast the ball inside the far post.

“To come back in that way, it was a very important victory. Hannover is a strong team and demanded everything from us,” Dortmund coach Juergen Klopp said.

Bayern started against the league’s bottom team with Luiz Gustavo and Holger Badstuber in central defense—coach Louis van Gaal’s 16th defensive combination of the season.

The team labored and created few good chances in a frustrating first half, leading to the players being booed off at the interval.

There was no immediate improvement after the break. Danijel Pranjic sent his cross wayward from a promising position, Philipp Lahm lost the ball with teammates waiting, and Franck Ribery sent two free kicks harmlessly over.

Marco Reus hit the roof of the net for Moenchengladbach, before Robben finally made the breakthrough for the home side in the 77th, when the Dutch winger latched onto Ribery’s cutback before firing past Logan Bailly from close range.

“It was a labored win, because we simply didn’t play well,” Robben said. “The three points were very important at the end. Now we want to try and start a run, and win seven games in a row. That was the first win today.”

Relegation-threatened Kaiserslautern frustrated Leverkusen for long periods, in the visitors’ first match since coach Jupp Heynckes announced that he would be taking over at Bayern next season.

“I am particularly pleased that we consolidated second place. That’s how we have to go on,” Heynckes said.

Simon Rolfes should have scored before the interval, when he was set up by former Kaiserslautern player Michael Ballack, but the Leverkusen captain’s header was weak.

Sydney Sam—another former Kaiserslautern player—finally scored the deserved goal in the 74th, when he powered a poorly cleared ball past Kevin Trapp from 11 meters (yards).

“It was something special for me at my former home. It was all the better to have scored a goal (here). Now we have more of a chance of the Champions League,” Sam said.

Werder Bremen failed to make the most of its chances against Stuttgart, which had taken the lead through Tamas Hajnal in the 13th, when Tim Wiese was unable to hold onto Pavel Pogrebnyak’s header.

Werder had the ball cleared off the line by Hajnal, and a Sandro Wagner goal ruled out for handball, before Torsten Frings equalized in the 34th, when his long-range strike took a kind deflection past Sven Ulreich.

Freiburg ended its four-game losing streak, and got off to flying start at Mainz when Papiss Demba Cisse scored in the 49th second.

The Senegalese blasted past Christian Wetklo from a narrow angle for his 19th goal of the season.

Sami Allagui scored the deserved equalizer in the 74th, when he rose highest to convert a corner from Andreas Ivanschitz, for the first ever draw between the sides.
