Tottenham star Rafael van der Vaart has been included on the PFA Player of the Year shortlist after it was officially revealed.
A national newspaper leaked a six-man shortlist on Tuesday but seven players were named on the official list with the Dutch playmaker, who has scored 10 goals this season, the additional name to feature.
Also on the list are White Hart Lane team-mate Gareth Bale, Blackpool's Charlie Adam, Arsenal's Samir Nasri, Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez, Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic and West Ham midfielder Scott Parker.
Spurs star Bale is the favourite after he established himself as one of the best players in Europe this season with his Champions League hat-trick against Internazionale just one of many highlights.
Bale is also on the Young Player of the Year shortlist, where he is joined by Nasri, Arsenal's Jack Wilshere, Manchester City's Joe Hart, Everton's Seamus Coleman and Manchester United's Nani.
Again there was an additional name to those revealed earlier in the week with Nani's team-mate Javier Hernandez also featuring after bagging 11 Premier League goals in his debut season in England.
The winners will be announced on April 17.
