LAST WAVE ... Ancelotti at final home game
CARLO ANCELOTTI said 'bye' to the Chelsea fans and admitted he does not know if he will be back next season.
The grim-faced Blues boss took part in a half-hearted 'lap of appreciation' after the 2-2 draw against Newcastle - their final home game.
Ancelotti said: "I don't know what will happen. There is no meeting planned but we have to wait just one week.
"Everyone can have their opinion about my job but it is the club who must judge me and make the decision.
"If my job was good, I will stay. If they think it was not good, I will have to go.
"In my opinion, sometimes I did a good job and other times I could have done better."
Many fans did not bother to wait at the whistle and Stamford Bridge was less than a quarter full as Ancelotti waved to the near-empty stands.
Ancelotti added: "First of all I want to say thanks to our supporters.
"They have given me fantastic support all season."
Owner Roman Abramovich watched as Chelsea threw away two more points to Steven Taylor's equaliser in the second minute of stoppage time.
Ancelotti added: "When you concede a lot of goals in the last minute, something is wrong."
