Eto'o: Was on target with two goals against Palermo
Inter Milan claimed a 3-1 victory over Palermo to retain the Coppa Italia and hand coach Leonardo his first piece of silverware at the helm of the Nerazzurri.
Samuel Eto'o struck twice at Rome's Stadio Olimpico on Sunday night as Inter won the competition for the seventh time.
The Cameroon international scored his first goal in the 26th minute before adding his second with 14 minutes remaining.
Ezequiel Munoz handed Palermo a lifeline in the 88th minute but was then sent off for a harsh foul.
Inter substitute Diego Milito scored deep into stoppage time to make sure the Milan side celebrated.
Eto'o finished as the Coppa Italia's top scorer with five goals this season, setting up a Milan derby in the country's SuperCoppa later this summer. Rivals AC Milan won the Serie A title for the first time since 2004.
