FOOTBALL star Karim Benzema is being investigated over a porn photo sent to a girl of 14.
Cops have found that the mobile phone used to transmit it belongs to Real Madrid - the player's club.
The girl's family called police after she had a Facebook chat about football to a "Karim Benze", believing it was the French striker - currently an Arsenal transfer target.
She then received a string of filthy messages and a picture of a man's privates.
"Benze" had written to her about Real and a holiday on the Indian Ocean island of Reunion, where she lives. Benzema, 23, visited the French isle to celebrate his birthday the previous month, December 2009.
The player, bought for £30million to join ex-Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo, was accused last year of having sex with an under-age Paris hooker.
He denied both claims, saying the porn was from someone who stole his identity online. But officials in Reunion kept probing the allegation of corrupting a minor and drafted in computer analysts.
And last night French police sources revealed that the mobile linked to "Karim Benze" was one of a batch contracted by Real for use by staff, including directors and players. One said: "The phone belongs to his club."
