BURSTING POINT ... Samir Nasri
SAMIR NASRI reckons Arsenal are still suffering the demoralising effects of their Carling Cup final defeat by Birmingham.
The Gunners were red-hot favourites to end their six-year wait for silverware last February.
But they blew it 2-1 and Gunners old boy Nasri believes that setback, plus their awful league finish and transfer antics, has left them in the doldrums.
The Manchester City star said: "There are some signs you can't ignore. Cesc Fabregas' departure for Barcelona is one, our terrible end to the season is another.
"The loss to Birmingham also did a lot of damage in the mind.
"Arsenal no longer have the same resources, they can't make the same transfer moves. They're almost forced to sell their best players and gamble on youngsters."
