I have a say

Midfielder Stewart Murdoch and winger Kallum Higginbotham will miss out when in-form Falkirk host Dundee.

The pair are suspended after they were sent off during the 1-1 draw with Livingston last weekend.

Blair Alston and David Weatherston are expected to step up from the substitutes' bench into the starting XI.

"This will be another tough contest for our youngsters but they have not let anyone down at any stage this season," said Falkirk boss Steven Pressley, whose side go into the game on the back of a seven-game unbeaten streak.

"Dundee are a big club like ourselves who want to move back up in football so it should be an exciting contest.

"We beat them 1-0 in our recent meeting and I would settle for a similar result this time."

Stephen O'Donnell is the only absentee for Dundee. The midfielder is suspended as Barry Smith`s side make their second trip of the season to Falkirk.

The Bairns ended Dundee's interest in the Ramsdens Cup with a 1-0 success last month.

Smith is adamant that revenge is not on his agenda, although it may well be on the mind of his players.

He said: "The cup game is gone now as far as I am concerned but if it adds extra motivation when the guys get on the pitch, that is fine by me.

"No team has yet put together a string of wins in this division and it would be great if we could add to our success over Raith last week by winning there and putting some momentum behind us."
