Former Scotland international striker Stevie Crawford will play his final game for Forfar against Albion Rovers.

Crawford is poised to leave to start a new role as assistant to Falkirk manager Steven Pressley.

Forfar have on-loan St Mirren goalkeeper Adam McHugh available again after suspension and the fit-again trio of Greg Ross, Craig Wilson and Mark McCulloch back in manager Dick Campbell's plans.

"Albion Rovers will come here and battle for everything so our players have been told to be prepared," Campbell said.

"Last Saturday Paul Martin went back to the side that grafted their way to promotion at the expense of summer signings and that brought about a 1-0 win over Arbroath. I would imagine he will be looking to do the same here."

John Gemmell is an injury concern for the visitors.

The striker sustained a hamstring injury in training on Thursday and will continue to be assessed.

Defender Simon Marriot is another possible absentee with a knee knock and he could join Ciaran Donnelly, Steven Canning and Barry Russell in the treatment room. However, the experienced Danny Ferry is available.

The Coatbridge men won for only the second time this season last weekend and manager Paul Martin has challenged them to go on a run and move off the bottom of the table.

He said: "We need to put together a string of results as we are only two wins away from mid-table. Forfar is a tough venue but if we can pick something up there it would be great."
