Ross County vs Falkirk preview - Adams playing waiting game

I have a say

Manager Derek Adams is leaving the decision over his starting XI against Falkirk until the last minute after a sickness bug struck Ross County's squad this week.

Ten played are suffering from the virus, leaving Adams - who is already without striker Sam Morrow and Steven Craig - with considerable cause for concern.

Morrow continues to struggle with a hamstring injury, while Craig is serving the final game of an eight-match ban.

Adams said: "We sent four more players home from training on Thursday so I have no idea what team I will be sending out at this stage.

"This is the biggest game of the season in Division One so far and it is not ideal preparation but we will just have to get on with things."

Falkirk have included fit-again defenders Kieran Duffie and Thomas Scobbie in their travelling party.

Those boosts, though, are tempered by teenage midfield starlet Craig Sibbald once again being sidelined with a knee injury.

The Bairns will be backed by over 1,000 travelling fans, with technical director and one-time County boss Alex Smith saying: "We are in good shape for this game and have some tough decisions to make over who starts.

"It should be a fantastic game between two very good teams and we are going into it with a freshness about us - as our young players keep pleasing everyone - and on the back of a great 4-3 win over Livingston last weekend."
