Barcelona are picking up the pace in their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale.
According to reports in the Daily Mail, the Catalans sent scouts to watch the Welshman yet again during Spurs' 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Monday night.
Further reports indicate that if Harry Redknapp is arm-twisted into selling his prized asset, Bale will not go for cheap, and Tottenham will demand for £45 million in order to let the wing wizard depart.
However, the price-tag will not deter Barca manager Pep Guardiola, who is a huge admirer of the 22-year-old, and believes that Bale will fit in perfectly for Barcelona at left-back.
This is not the first time Barcelona have watched Bale in action, with chief scout Albert Valentine previously in London earlier this month when Bale helped Tottenham to a 3-1 victory over Fulham,
The club's chief scout Albert Valentine travelled to London earlier this month to watch Bale score in Tottenham's 3-1 win at Fulham. It has also helped that the winger has reciprocated Barcelona's interest in him, admitting recently he is flatter to be linked to the La Liga giants.
And the Wales international has also admitted that he is flattered to be linked with the European champions.
