ROBIN VAN PERSIE has revealed he is so good that sometimes he even amazes himself.
The 17-goal Arsenal hitman said: "I feel I'm a real No 9 now. I think like a striker.
"Sometimes I amaze even myself on that. It's really great how things are going but at the same time I have to try and look at it calmly."
Van Persie, 28, has bagged 31 Premier League goals since the turn of the year.
He tops the Prem scoring charts with 13 this season and has netted 17 club goals in total.
But he admits his rich vein of form will count for nothing unless Arsenal end their six-year wait for a trophy.
He added: "Everyone knows what the ultimate goal is. Only the prizes count.
"This run of goals has to lead to something otherwise it's only a nice series and I desire more than that."
