Diego Milito will not be leaving Inter Milan during the January transfer window, his agent Fernando Hidalgo has said.

The 32-year-old has struggled for goals and form this season and has even found it hard to break into the Inter first team.

He has started only six of Inter's 12 league games, scoring three times, while Giampaolo Pazzini has become the club's first choice number nine.

But Hidalgo told Corriere dello Sport that his client will not be going anywhere before the end of the season.

"Diego is not leaving Inter because he wants to return to the level he showed two years ago with the black and blue shirt," said Hidalgo.

"We're not even considering moving in January and if the worst comes to the worst and things don't go well, at most we could consider other solutions in the summer.

"If someone wants to see him in another shirt they will have to wait at least until June or July."

Milito was the star of the Inter show in their treble-winning campaign under Jose Mourinho in 2009/10.

He was the club's top scorer and bagged the winning goals in the Champions League final, Italian Cup final and also Inter's crucial 1-0 victory over Siena on the final day of the season that ensured they pipped Roma to the Serie A title.
