Wayne in a manger - Rooney buys stables for Coleen’s pony

WAYNE Rooney is planning to treat wife Coleen to a stable block for Christmas — to house her pony.
The Man United ace has been quoted £48,000 to have it built at their £4million home.
It means Coleen can keep her £70,000 nag in the grounds of their mansion in Prestbury, Cheshire, instead of making a 45-minute trip to a livery yard in Warrington.
A friend said: "Coleen is horse-mad. She loves her horse and loves riding to keep fit.
"She will be thrilled. As long as the plans are accepted by the local authority, they should be up and running early next year."
Coleen, 25, has been planning to buy a pony for the couple's two-year-old son Kai.
He had his first riding lesson in September and his mum proudly posted a snap of him on a Shetland pony on Twitter. The pal said: "Coleen's really excited. She's really looking forward to being able to go out riding with Kai when he's a bit older."
Wayne, 26 — who recently hired award-winning architects to design him a SHED — bought Coleen her highly-trained "schoolmaster" pony for Christmas in 2006.
The friend added: "He knows how much she'd like to be closer to it."
