Arbroath vs Airdrie United preview - Midfield ace banned

Arbroath are without banned midfield ace Josh Falkingham as they look to top the Second Division by seeing off visitors Airdrie United at Gayfield.
The Red Lichties have injury concerns as well, with Mark Baxter, Collin Samuel and Jordan Elfverson ruled out. Manager Paul Sheerin has included youngster Jake Mair in his squad.
"We are down to pretty low numbers but things happen and you just have to get on with them," said Sheerin. "This will be a difficult game to win as Airdrie will be looking to hit back after a couple of recent disappointments."
"Going top would be nice but I do not view this as the biggest game of our season as every game between now and the end of the season could be massive."
Airdrie United goalkeeper Grant Adam and midfielder Sean Lynch will miss out against hosts Arbroath following their red cards against East Fife at the weekend.
The club had looked into Adam's dismissal for handling outside of the box, but the idea of an appeal was dropped when footage of the incident was unclear.
The Diamonds' resources could be stretched further as Keiron Stallard, Jamie Stevenson, Scott Sally and Fraser Keast are all struggling to be available due to injuries.
Defender Cameron MacDonald is available after a two-game ban, with manager Jimmy Boyle saying, "We have not found the net in our last couple of games which is not like us but hopefully we can put that right in a game that is usually played in a very open manner."
