WE'RE NO DOPES ... Kolo Toure insists City will not blow it
KOLO TOURE hopes to banish the memory of his drugs ban hell by helping Manchester City to the title.
And he will be joined in his quest by Carlos Tevez — who makes his public return for City tonight in the reserves against Bolton.
Toure's career was in turmoil a year ago following a failed dope test.
The Ivory Coast centre-back, 30, took his wife's slimming pills and was banned for six months. But now the ex-City skipper hopes to play a key part in the run-in.
He said: "I'm very happy today. I was really angry back then.
"What happened made me a better person, a stronger person. I realised how important that time is when you are able to play. I'm giving 100 per cent and showing as much quality as I have to help us win the title."
Tevez played his first game in five months behind closed doors last week.
Tonight's game is a stepping stone to a first-team return, which could come at home to Chelsea on Monday week.
