WAYNE ROONEY has been banished to the spare room – but not because he’s upset Coleen.
The Manchester United star has been told not to get too close to his wife in case he catches the cold she’s got.
Premier League leaders Man U don’t want to risk him being ill ahead of the big title-deciding derby against Manchester City next Monday night.
A source said: “Coleen has been feeling really under the weather and has been resting in bed. Wayne’s just been told to be careful and ensure he doesn’t put himself in the position where he can be infected.”
The England striker won’t be too bothered.
It means he can stay up all night and watch his favourite TV shows without Coleen trying to get hold of the remote.
There are only so many episodes of Geordie Shore you can watch in one night, though.
