Guardiola set for talks
Pep Guardiola: Barcelona face a fruitless end to their campaign

Pep Guardiola will have talks with Barcelona president Sandro Rosell to discuss how the club will bounce back from their defeat against Chelsea.

The Catalan giants have now failed to win three games in succession - both legs of the UEFA Champions League semi-final - which were sandwiched by a league setback to Real Madrid.

Tuesday's defeat to Chelsea perhaps highlighted the need for them to re-group as they struggled to break down 10-man Chelsea for almost an hour.

They eventually lost the tie 3-2 on aggregate after goals from Ramires and Fernando Torres made it 2-2 on the night at the Camp Nou.

And after a season that promised so much, they now look like missing out on the major prizes.

Recover

Asked what he was going to do now, Guardiola said: "We will speak with Tito [Vilanova, assistant manager] and see what we have to do.

"Right now, we need to talk more about the emotion of our players and how they recover because there are many players that have been playing a long time.

"We have to go to Rayo Vallecano [this weekend], we are still Barca, we have to continue doing things as we usually do them.

"So we will talk to the president as well and we will talk about everything - the situation that happened in these days and of course we will take a decision because it is time to take a decision now."
