Werder Bremen winger Marko Marin has revealed Tottenham were interesting in signing him before he made his 'dream' move to Chelsea.
The Germany international has penned a five-year contract with Roberto Di Matteo's side after the 23-year-old's deal to join Stamford Bridge in the summer was confirmed on Saturday.
The winger, who believed to have cost Chelsea in the region of £6.5 million, also claims he is suited to his new club's style of football.
"Chelsea is my dream club," Marin told Sport-Bild.
"I'm happy that I get the chance to play for them. It is a challenge for me.
"Tottenham Hotspur were also interested, but I opted for Chelsea, because they suit me well."
