Liverpool misfit Aquilani's hopes of Milan move hit by Flamini U-turn

Mathieu Flamini has agreed to take a pay cut to remain at AC Milan and that could end Alberto Aquilani's hopes of staying with the Rossoneri.
French midfielder Flamini was expected to leave the San Siro this summer with his current deal ending next month.

Setback: Alberto Aquilani
However, the 28-year-old has reportedly agreed to reduce his wages by half in order to stay with Milan for another season, according to reports in Italy.
The former Arsenal midfielder joined Milan in 2008 but missed most of last season with a serious knee injury.
The move could scupper Aquilani's hopes of making his loan move from Liverpool a permanent one.
