WANTED MAN ... Gylfi Sigurdsson
TOTTENHAM have moved ahead of Liverpool in the race to sign Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Spurs believe their £8million bid has been accepted by Hoffenheim.
The midfielder, 22, is keen to be reunited with former Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers at Anfield but discussions have stalled due to Sigurdsson’s wage demands.
Hoffenheim coach and ex-Liverpool ace Markus Babbel said: “If, by June 30, he has done nothing he’ll return to us.”
