He is one of England's greatest ever football players but his fame off the pitch has sometimes eclipsed his amazing talent.
Despite having played at some of the world's best clubs David Beckham still worries about how he will be remembered after he kicks a ball for the last time.
The 37-year-old Los Angeles Galaxy star is firmly in the twilight of his career but does not yet look close to retiring from an award winning career.

The man: David Beckham, posing for Esquire magazine, hopes to be remembered as a gifted footballer when he eventually retires
When asked how he wanted to be remembered, he told Esquire magazine: 'Just as a hard-working footballer.
'I want to be remembered firstly as a good and successful footballer because that’s what I’ve done for many years. And then who knows after that?'
His work as a model and global fashion icon has made him a household name as much as his ability with a ball, and it has become easier with age.
