Roma'sGabriel Heinze is a possible left-back solution for QPR
The news comes as manager Mark Hughes looks to improve his sides leaky defence for next season, with the Hoops shipping an average of two goals a game last term, as they finished just above the relegation zone.
Hughes has already strengthened the backline with deals for England international goalkeeper
Robert Green and the experienced Ryan Nelsen, while talented Brazil defender Fabio has arrived on a season-long loan from Manchester United.
But QPR are not stopping there, and want to improve their left-back options by snapping up one of Gabriel Heinze or Kieran Richardson.
