GUTTED Gooner and Olympic hero Mo Farah last night told of his anguish after Robin Van Persie left Arsenal for Man United.
Double gold medal winner Mo, 29, revealed the captain’s departure had cast a long shadow over a week in which he was supposed to be basking in triumph.
The 10,000m and 5,000m champion told The Sun it was “a dark day” for the Gunners.
Mo went on: “Us Gooners said goodbye to a living legend — Robin Van Persie.
