Cambridge United vs Northampton Town preview - Cambridge waiting on Elliott
Posted Thursday, November 13, 2014 by PA
Cambridge are sweating on the fitness of Tom Elliott for the clash with Northampton after he was forced off against Fleetwood with a knee injury.
Adam Cunnington has been recalled from his loan at Bristol Rovers but boss Richard Money has insisted it is not to cover for injuries.
The striker scored three goals in 16 games for the Pirates and had two weeks left on his loan deal.
Ryan Donaldson is available after suspension after missing the 1-0 FA Cup win over the Cod Army.
Northampton have no fresh injury worries from their 2-0 Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Leyton Orient.
Top scorer Marc Richards, Kelvin Langmead and Chris Hackett are available after coming on as substitutes on Tuesday.
Langmead could be allowed to go out on loan and regain match fitness after an Achilles problem.
Lewis Hornby (tendinitis), Ian Morris (knee), Evan Horwood (tendinitis) and Zander Diamond (ankle) are all out.
