Forfar Athletic vs Stirling Albion preview - Dunlop set for Forfar start
Posted Friday, March 27, 2015 by PA
Forfar defender Michael Dunlop will start against bottom-club Stirling as Stuart Malcolm and Michael Travis are suspended.
The Loons sit one point off the top of League One and manager Dick Campbell is ensuring that his players do not take anything for granted.
He said: "Stirling went recently to Dunfermline and drew. They defeated a Peterhead side last weekend that had just beaten us, so this will be a really tough game.
"Stirling will get maximum respect, but if we play like we can then we should win. If you are serious about winning things you need to win games like this."
Stirling are without on-loan Hearts midfielder Angus Beith as he is playing in an Under-19 tournament for Scotland, with the Forthbank men also without the injured Darren Smith (knee) and Steven Doris (stomach muscle).
After defeating Peterhead last Saturday, Stirling are hoping to set up an escape from automatic relegation.
Assistant manager Martyn Corrigan said: "A win had been coming for a few weeks as we have been playing well. We took our chances and if we are as clinical again then we are in with a chance.
"They are pushing for the title and this will be a difficult game but we need to be bold."
