Raith are missing Martin Scott and Kevin Moon as they look to hand out a second defeat in a row to visitors Hibs.
Scott is suspended while Moon is suffering with a calf injury and neither will be involved for Rovers.
Manager Grant Murray said: "Hibs will be looking to bounce straight back after losing to Rangers last weekend.
"They will not have been happy about it at all and will see this game as an opportunity to send out a message about their aims to finish second. We will have to play well to get anything.
"We are going into the game after a good 3-0 win over Queen of the South in midweek so our confidence is high."
Hibernian boss Alan Stubbs hopes to welcome strikers Farid El Alagui and Jason Cummings back.
Cummings missed last week's defeat to promotion rivals Rangers with a knee injury but should be fit to return after receiving the all clear following a scan.
El Alagui, meanwhile, has been out of action since the end of August after rupturing his Achilles tendon against Alloa but played 90 minutes of an Under-20s game with Celtic on Tuesday.
