Chelsea 'structure' wants Nathan says Jose Mourinho

Talented Brazilian midfielder Nathan is being followed by Chelsea although Jose Mourinho has admitted he would not be ready for the first-team if a deal is completed.
The Blues have been heavily linked with the 19-year-old playmaker, after reports in Brazil claimed that Atletico PR and Chelsea had agreed a fee for the transfer.
The figure is believed to be somewhere in the region of £4.5m, with Nathan thought to be due in London this week for a medical.
And Mourinho, speaking to reporters ahead of his side's match with Manchester United this weekend, appeared to confirm that his club are closing in on the capture of Nathan.
"He's a player that our structure follows and our structure thinks that he's a player with potential for the future," Mourinho said.
"And if the deal is to close I will try to help - as I try to help everyone - to become a Chelsea player.
"But at the moment he is not a player for my squad, he is not a player I am waiting for.
"I am focused on just my team and my job, I love it, and the objective we are fighting for, I love it too."
When Mourinho says he's not waiting for the player, he likely means he's not counting on him contributing to the first-team in the immediate future.
As is the case with most young Chelsea signings, Nathan would likely spend at least one season away from Stamford Bridge on loan after completing a transfer.
