Mourinho insists Chelsea do not want to sell Oscar

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists his side are not looking to sell Brazil international Oscar and admits the midfielder has one of the "best contracts" at the club, as per Miguel Delaney from ESPN.

Oscar joined the Blues from Internacional in the summer of 2012 and has been a good player for Mourinho's men, despite coming under some criticism this season.

The Brazil international has started 24 of Chelsea's 32 Premier League matches this campaign, but has managed just six goals and has been substituted in 18 of those appearances.

The 23-year-old was on the bench for the win over Queens Park Rangers last week, but he did come on in the second half as Mourinho looked to rejuvenate his lacklustre side.

According to Sky Sports, there are suggestions that claim Mourinho is ready to listen to offers for the midfielder in the summer, something the Portuguese coach has firmly played down.

Oscar began his career at Sao Paulo, where he won the Brazilian League in 2008, before he left for Internacional.
The silky midfielder signed a new deal until the 2018-19 season back in November, but since then he has struggled to recapture his best form – creating just nine chances in 2015, which is less than Branislav Ivanovic (12).

Oscar has a 50% shot accuracy in the league this season.
